本人既是火车爱好者也是卡车爱好者。前一段时间参加活动弄到了一台解放J6牵引车的模型,当然这里是火车论坛,那车的照片我也就不发了。
提那个车模是因为那个车模的到来,让我萌生了拥有一台火车模型的想法。实际上我早就想有一台火车模型了,因为我以前在电脑上设计机车的时候,没有“模特”作为参考,建模比较费劲。
后来一次试探性的搜索找到了这台车,HO比例Norfolk Southern #6778,EMD SD60M,才卖400多。
先简单说说NS#6778这台车吧,以下内容整理自维基百科:
EMD SD60系列柴油机车,
生产:1984-1995,生产了1140台。
轴式:Co-Co
发动机:EMD 16-710G3A
发动机结构:V16
牵引电机:D-87
功率输出:3800hp(2800kW),900rpm
NS#6778原本并不归NS所有,NS最开始购进的是SD60基本型,买了151台,编号NS#6550-6700,10年开始这些机车都被陆续改装成NS定制款SD60E。
NS#6778最开始归Conrail所有,当时Conrail买了75台,编号5500-5574,后来在1999年Conrail被CSX和NS分了,其中30台给了CSX,编号CSXT#8756-8773,8775-8786;剩下44台给了NS,编号NS#6763-6806,6778便是其中之一。维基百科并没有记载这些机车的详细对应,所以也就无从知道6778当初在Conrail的编号。
关于SD60M车型
The SD60M features a "North American safety cab" design and has a full-width short hood.
SD60M采用“北美安全驾驶室”设计,并采用全宽短鼻子。
Early models featured a three-piece windshield with vertical windows (nicknamed "triclops"), identical to the windshields found on EMD's SD40-2F and F59PH models.
早期批次挡风玻璃是3块(绰号“triclops”),跟EMD SD40-2F和F59PH的一样。(如果你玩铁路工厂,有谢尔曼山地图和UP SD60M的DLC,会发现那款SD60M就是三块玻璃的,可见UP买这款车出手比较早)
Later production used two windshield panes that were sloped back, and had a somewhat shorter nose.
后期批次挡风玻璃改为2块并且向后倾斜,鼻子也短了一些。(6778就是这些批次的)
EMD's F59PH is based on the SD60M.
EMD F59PH是基于SD60M设计的。
Purchasers of this model included Conrail, Union Pacific Railroad, Burlington Northern Railroad and the Soo Line Railroad.
这款机车的购买者包括Conrail,Union Pacific Railroad(联合太平洋), Burlington Northern Railroad(BNSF的BN,伯灵顿北方铁路) 和 the Soo Line Railroad.
顺便说说SD60E
The SD60E is a custom rebuilt SD60 for Norfolk Southern created at the Juniata Shops.
SD60E是NS基于SD60基本型的定制改装款。
So far, only standard SD60s have entered this rebuild program, which began in 2010.
目前为止只有SD60基本型参与到改装项目中,改装项目从10年开始。
The SD60E utilizes a new NS-designed "Crescent" cab with a wide short hood, replacing the "spartan" cab.
SD60E采用NS自己设计的"Crescent" 驾驶室,带有宽而短的鼻子,取代了原装的"spartan" 驾驶室(就是SD40系列的样子,看过《危情时速》的话,弗兰克和威尔开的1206机车就是)
The name Crescent comes from the Norfolk Southern Crescent Corridor which runs from Louisiana to New Jersey.
NS设计的驾驶室叫"Crescent" 翻译过来叫“新月”,名字来源于NS铁路系统路易斯安那到新泽西州的新月走廊。
The upgrade also installs new electronics and upgrades the engine to the 710G3B standard rated at 4000 hp.
60改60E还包括一些电子设备的升级,发动机也换成了4000马力的710G3B。
Norfolk Southern bought additional SD60s from HLCX (Helm Financial Corporation) specifically for the SD60E program with the aim to eventually rebuild 240 SD60Es.
NS还格外从HLCX (Helm Financial Corporation,金融公司?) 买了一些SD60机车,他们准备改装出240台SD60E。
Notable SD60Es include the NS 6920 "Veterans Unit," the NS 6963 "GoRail Unit," and the NS 9-1-1 "Honoring Our First Responders Unit."
