The Class 08 Diesel Shunter RailWorks add-on allows users to experience the very best this fantastic machine has to offer. The Class 08 Diesel Electric Shunter can be found in no less than 12 iterations carried during its operating life span. Some are still in operation today.

- Assemble a train of empty TTA tank wagons ready for haulage back to Lindsey Fuel Depot.
All Messed Up
- Great Western has an unveiling of their new colour scheme shortly, but some joker has scattered the coaches all over the depot. Assemble it in the correct order as fast as you can ready to head out to Paddington for 9.00am.
Shunt on Tyne
- The staff at Gateshead Depot has you hauling a rake of coaches into Newcastle Station, but the rake must be created first!
Snow Trouble
- It’s a frosty cold morning at Darlington. Rescue a failed freight train before going about your shunting duties.
Some Assembly Required
- Assorted wagons are located around Templecombe Lower Yard and need to be assembled for transportation up the line. Use a Class 08 on loan to the region, to shunt the freight for an incoming Black 5 to haul over the Mendips.
Freight’o’clock
- Use a Class 08 shunter which has been loaned to the railway to split a large consist at Bath Yard into smaller orders and deliver them to the correct locations.
Green Day
- Assemble a train in the main yard containing items needed by local farms in the area.
