天津市区内所有铁路车站与地铁站现已全部实施接通，而最新接通的是天津南站。即日起，每天 06:00 - 22:07，都可从天津南站乘坐地铁前往市区。
天津地铁 3 号线连接天津市三个火车站，即北站、天津站（"东站"）及南站。今后，万一有想购买到天津中心市区火车站的旅客误购天津南站车票，也可在天津南站通过不到 30 分钟的地铁，回到市区天津站附近。往西站的旅客请在营口道站换乘 1 号线到达天津西站。
All train stations in Tianjin now come with a Metro connection. This includes the Tianjin South Railway Station (Tianjin Nan Zhan), which now has a Metro Line 3 connection to the city centre (operational every day from 06:00 through to 22:07).
Line 3 also calls at Tianjin North Railway Station, as well as the main Tianjin station (also known as the "East Station"), so in case you've the wrong ticket and arrive at Tianjin South by mistake, you are only 30 minutes away from the main city station by metro. Interchange to Line 1 (at Yingkoudao station) for connections to the Tianjin West Railway Station.
