On June 8, 2013 Tulpar-Talgo's new high-speed train "Almaty - Atyrau"-"Sarayshyk" of JSC "Passenger transportation" will depart from the platform of Almaty-2 station. 
Frequency of the new train is ones in two days. Total time spend in transit is 35 hours 30 minutes from Almaty to Atyrau. The train consists of 27 cars, including 2 - "Grand" (a double with shower), 2 "Business" (double) and 18 passenger coaches of "Tourist" class, 2 technical, 1 converter coach, 1 dining coach and 1 coach bar. "Grand" class coach provides one compartment for passengers with disabilities. For convenience, this compartment provides shower, toilet, specially equipped door, call button, and expanded corridor for easy boarding and landing passengers.
It should be noted that the input speed routes primarily involve reduction of the train time into more than 1.5 times. With the introduction of train number 77/78 travel time from the station Almaty-2 to Atyrau (distance 2695 km) will be reduced from 49 to 35 hours.
